Inspiring Education: A Quiz on Swami Vivekanand

स्वामी विवेकानंद की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में 12 जनवरी 2025 को डा० मधु टंडन बी०एड० संकाय द्वारा "Inspiring Education: A Quiz on Swami Vivekananda" का सफल आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय की आंतरिक गुणवत्ता आश्वासन प्रकोष्ठ (IQAC) के तत्वावधान में आयोजित किया गया।

इस ऑनलाइन क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को स्वामी विवेकानंद के जीवन, शिक्षाओं और उनके प्रेरणादायी विचारों से परिचित कराना था, जिससे उनके व्यक्तित्व एवं चरित्र निर्माण में सहयोग मिल सके। क्विज़ में कुल 20 वस्तुनिष्ठ (Objective Type) प्रश्न पूछे गए थे, जो स्वामी विवेकानंद के जीवन दर्शन पर आधारित थे।

इस कार्यक्रम में महाविद्यालय की विभिन्न संकायों के कुल 192 छात्रों ने उत्साहपूर्वक प्रतिभाग किया और विवेकानंद जी के विचारों से प्रेरणा प्राप्त की।

इस आयोजन का सफल संचालन बी०एड० समन्वयक एवं IQAC कोऑर्डिनेटर डॉ० मंजरी शुक्ला एवं प्राचार्या प्रोफेसर लालिमा सिंह के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में किया गया।

One-Day Yoga Workshop on the Occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti

On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, a one-day Yoga Workshop was organized on 11th January 2025 by Dr. Madhu Tandon B.Ed. Faculty.

The workshop aimed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual discipline among the pupil-teachers. As a mark of tribute to Swami Vivekananda's vision of youth empowerment and holistic education, a collective Surya namaskar (Sun Salutation) session was conducted.

The students of the faculty participated enthusiastically and performed Surya namaskar in unison, creating an atmosphere of energy, focus, and harmony. Such events play a vital role in integrating traditional Indian practices into the modern educational framework and instilling values of health and self-discipline in future educators. The workshop concluded with words of encouragement and reflection on the importance of yoga in everyday life.

Two-Day Workshop on Designing Digital Questionnaire

26th September and 1st October 2024

A two-day workshop on Designing Digital Questionnaire was successfully conducted on 26th September and 1st October 2024 by Dr. Madhu Tandon B.Ed. Faculty. The pupil-teachers enthusiastically participated in this engaging workshop, which aimed to introduce them to innovative aspects of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in education. The workshop was designed to provide hands-on experience in digital tool creation and practical implementation in teaching-learning processes.

Key Takeaways of the Workshop:

• Creating and customizing Google Forms
• Drafting effective Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Collecting responses and analysing feedback data

The sessions enabled the student-teachers to gain practical skills for integrating digital tools into their pedagogical practices. It was a fruitful learning experience that fostered digital competence and confidence among future educators.

Online Quiz on Educational Technology

Date: 24th September 2024

An online quiz on the subject Educational Technology was successfully organized on 24th September 2024 by Dr. Madhu Tandon, Faculty of B.Ed., for the student-teachers of the B.Ed. 3rd semester.

The primary objective of the quiz was to reinforce the conceptual understanding of modern educational tools, methods, and techniques. The quiz was conducted through an online platform and witnessed active participation from the students.

The Pupil-teachers enthusiastically engaged in the activity, which tested their knowledge and encouraged a spirit of healthy academic competition. Such initiatives not only make learning enjoyable but also help in evaluating the academic progress of learners in an interactive way. The session concluded with appreciation for the participants and acknowledgment of the efforts made by the organizing faculty member.
